The police have launched a manhunt for a prisoner who escaped custody on Saturday morning, while receiving treatment at a medical facility in the Corporate Area.
He is 25 year old Marlo Headley of Palmers Cross, Clarendon, who is facing murder charges.
Headley is of brown complexion, slim build and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He also has a tattoo on his right arm above his elbow.
The Hunts Bay Police report that, about 4:40 am, Headley escaped from National Chest Hospital where he was being treated for tuberculosis.
When last seen, he was wearing brown shorts and was shirtless. He is being urged to surrender to the police immediately.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Marlo Headley is asked to contact the Hunts Bay Police at 876 923-7111, the police emergency 119 number, or the nearest police station.
The police are also warning members of the public that harbouring a fugitive is a criminal offence and could result in prosecution.
