Water levels at two of the main catchment facilities serving the Corporate Area remain low, as Jamaica continues to experience relatively dry conditions.
The National Water Commission says, as at Sunday, the water level at Hermitage Dam stood at 39.7 per cent of capacity and was trending downward. The level at Mona Reservoir also declined, standing at 33 per cent of capacity.
The reduced levels at the two facilities could place additional pressure on water supplies to communities across the Corporate Area, particularly if the dry conditions persist.
Residents are being urged to conserve water.
