A three-year-old girl died in a single-vehicle crash along the Ferris main road in Westmoreland on Sunday.
She has been identified as Lucian Baron of Water Works district in the parish.
It’s reported that, about 9:30 p.m., the child was a passenger in an Isuzu Elf truck that was travelling in an easterly direction towards Savanna-La-Mar.
On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which overturned.
The child and the driver received multiple injuries and were taken to hospital.
The little girl later died.
