The suspect who was taken into custody in connection with the death of 50-year-old St. Elizabeth farmer Nicole Brown in Barton Wharf, Lacovia last week, has been charged with murder.
He is 39-year-old Dellode Warren, a labourer of Barton Wharf.
Detectives say Mr. Warren was charged after he gave them a caution statement and was questioned in the presence of his attorney.
The body of Ms. Brown, who was affectionately called ‘Nicky’, was found in a section of the Black River on August 4, a day after she was reported missing.
Mr. Warren, her former partner, was held by residents and beaten after he allegedly confessed to her killing.
He was rescued by the police and hospitalised under police guard on suspicion of murder and the disposal of Ms. Brown’s body.
Such a tragic story. I can’t believe something so serious happened over something as simple as hamburger buns.
YES sad indeed, let us continue to pray for the family members and friends left behind.
