The police are on the hunt for those behind Tuesday’s attack which left one dead and three wounded along a section of the Grass Pond main road in Westmoreland.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Dontae Wilshire, otherwise called Tamba.
Reports indicate that the victims were among several patrons at a bar situated along the Grass Pond main road, when a silver Toyota Axio drove up and stopped at the entrance of the building.
Seconds later, two armed men alighted from the vehicle, and opened fire at the patrons.
In a bid to escape injuries they ran in separate directions.
The men escaped in the waiting vehicle in the direction of Seaford Town.
When the shooting subsided, four people were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Mr. Wilshire who was shot in his upper body was pronounced dead at the hospital while the other three are being treated at hospital.
