Reggae Boyz to meet US in Concacaf semi-finals come March.

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will meet the United States in the semi-finals of the Concacaf Nations League in Dallas, Texas, which will be played on March 21.

This is Jamaica’s first entry to the semifinals of the Concacaf Nations League and the third time they will play in the prestigious Copa America.

The Reggae Boyz will play against the US in the semi-finals after they won their first-ever match against Canada. This was Jamaica’s third-ever victory over a North American team on North American Soil.

Also, it was the first time Jamaica registered three goals against a North American team on North American Soil.

Following the win, the Jamaica Football Federation wholeheartedly congratulated the Reggae Boyz after their showing against Canada on Tuesday.

“Jamaica’s football fans were put on the edge of their seats throughout the game,” said president Michael Ricketts.

“We are so proud of the effort and determination demonstrated by the team throughout the game. They fought so hard with their backs against the wall. A true example of the character that the country needs to tackle any adversity we may encounter. Now they get a chance to play more big games in the semifinals of the Nations League and the Copa America, which will in turn, help to pull them together for the World Cup Qualifiers next year,” he added.

The third-place playoff and final will be on March 24 at the same venue.
